01 — Position
The Box Studios is being developed from a local creative facility into a culture-commerce operation: a physical production base joined to archive rails, training infrastructure, licensing discovery, and public presentation. The purpose is to help New Orleans creators, culture bearers, businesses, educators, and partners publish, promote, preserve, learn, and trade without depending entirely on outside platforms.
The model is not studio hours. It is a repeatable operating system where production, instruction, documentation, and archive stewardship reinforce one another — each session leaving behind a record, a trained hand, and a catalog entry.

A teaching room is held to the same standard as a control room.
The Box Studios pursues access to qualified teaching labs, recording suites, performance rooms, broadcast-ready rooms, and venue spaces that meet professional acoustic, ergonomic, safety, A/V, livestream, and instructional standards.
Acoustic & technical suitability
Rooms are evaluated for treatment, isolation, monitoring accuracy, signal path integrity, and livestream readiness before they are used for instruction or capture.
Safety and access
Verified occupancy, safe participant flow, accessible entrances where applicable, visible exits, emergency procedures, and an incident-reporting process.
Classroom and workshop
Instructor station, display screens, accessible seating, reliable connectivity, printed guides, and evaluation forms — a teaching room, not a control room borrowed for an hour.

05 — Signal craft
The shielded copper cable workshop.
Practical instruction in gain staging, signal flow, cable care, testing, soldering, shielding, labeling, storage, maintenance logs, and small-batch shielded copper cable assembly. It protects production quality by reducing noise, grounding problems, signal loss, and cable failure — and it moves a critical production dependency inside the training and maintenance system rather than leaving it to replacement purchases.
The result is self-reliance, equipment longevity, workforce training, and local production capacity that serves the studio, the stage, the archive, and the classroom at once.
